Any questions…?

What is therapy?

Therapy can be used to describe a wide range of interactions. When I meet with a client, the priority will be to give you the time and space to feel comfortable, to be able to talk about what is on your mind. You will share what you hope to gain or get out of therapy, and we will agree a way together to work towards this.

So, what can you help with?

I work with both adults and children, and can work with a wide range of areas. This includes, but is not limited to; anxiety; depression; relationship challenges; loss; identity; stress; loneliness; body image; life transitions; communication patterns and being neurodiverse in a neurotypical world.I am an LGBTQ+ ally. My responsibility is to put the client’s best interest first, and if I feel that I am not competent to support you, and that someone with more specialist training in an area could, I will let you know.

I’m interested. What do I need to do?

First thing… get in touch! Either email or call me, and we can arrange a time for a complimentary 30 minute online session. This gives you the chance to find out if therapy could be for you. We would then agree a time and day for ongoing sessions.

And how much does it cost?

Your initial 30 minute online session is free. Prices for sessions start at £70. Concession rates are available, so please do get in touch. Cancellation is required 48 hours before each session, or will need to be charged.

Where abouts are you based?

We can work in person, face to face, from my therapy rooms on Battersea Rise, London, SW11 or Dulwich Road, Herne Hill SE24.
Sessions can also take place online, via zoom. There is the possibility of sessions taking place outdoors. This can be discussed during out introductory zoom call.

I’ve heard therapy is confidential. Is this true?

Everything we talk about in therapy is confidential, however, there are some areas when confidentiality would need to be broken, either for legal reasons, or for safeguarding. I explain all about this when we have our sessions, and you will get written confirmation of what confidentiality means within the therapeutic relationship.
